Over the past 10 years, Skin Patrol has performed onsite skin cancer clinics for over 250,000 workers at Australia’s leading companies.
Skin Patrol’s on site clinics are delivered by doctors
Our doctors have extensive experience in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. All spots identified as suspicious are digitally mapped and imaged, using Skin Patrols proprietary teledermatology solution.
Australia’s only mobile Dermatology practice
Skin Patrol includes remote dermatologist diagnosis for every suspicious lesion found by our doctors – no referral needed, no waiting period and no out of pocket expense.
Comprehensive patient follow up and treatment
Patient care continues long after we have left the site. Our comprehensive patient follow up procedure ensures your staff receive prompt treatment through our extensive, national specialist network.
Worksite Skin Checks
Skin Patrol is Australia’s only mobile medical practice dedicated to performing onsite skin checks. We work across all industries and are sensitive to site specific needs and OH&S regulations. For example, we can start a skin cancer clinic at 5am or 9pm, run split shifts, visit various sites in one day. Whatever is most beneficial for your worksite. Running a clinic is simple. All we need are two private rooms and 15 minutes of your employee’s time. Staff sign up through our simple online booking system and we provide you with marketing material to drive program uptake
Our medical team consists of a health technician, a General Practitioner and a remote dermatologist. In each session your staff will receive
1. A comprehensive full body skin check by a qualified GP
2. Digital mapping and imaging of all suspicious lesions
3. Specialist second opinion and diagnosis of all suspicious lesions via our unique tele-dermatology service
4. Skin cancer awareness education that drives early detection and prevention.
Why choose Skin Patrol
Skin Patrol is the only mobile medical service to provide remote dermatological diagnosis with every clinic.
We call this Tele-dermatology and is the gold standard for Worksite Skin Checks. Tele-Dermatology provides a comprehensive offsite diagnosis of all suspicious lesions detected during your on site clinic. This provides you with the most accurate diagnosis possible and saves time and money by reducing unnecessary benign (non cancerous) skin spot removals and off site doctor visits.
All employees requiring treatment go on to a rigorous follow up program to ensure prompt treatment is sought. Skin Patrol’s dedicated practice management team can arrange an express booking through our national network of medical specialists, saving your employees months of waiting.
Skin Patrol works with many clients on an annual basis. Each patient’s medical history of imaged lesions is securely stored by Skin Patrol and made available at subsequent consultations. This provides continuity of care, enabling the examining practitioner to compare previously imaged lesions for change.
Clients receive the most comprehensive report of findings of any provider in Australia. The report is de-identified but provides you with a detailed understanding of clinic results, patients skin cancer history and sun behaviour. The report contains recommendations for ongoing prevention and education strategies.
